At the reception, Mr. Ousmane Dione, Director of Water Section - Asia Pacific Region of World Bank (WB) expressed his impression on the dynamic development of Binh Duong as well as appreciated the urge of water drainage and waste water treatment project in Di An Town. After the visit, the delegation would report to WB’s leaders so that the project would be carried out soon.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem welcomed the delegation’s visit. He added the province is calling for investment on the project from organizations worldwide. Vice Chairman Liem hoped to receive assistance and support from WB, making contribution to environmental protection in Dong Nai river’s area and improve local residents’ quality of life.
