Provincial leader receives representatives of Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
BEGIC - In late September, at the provincial hall, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee had a working session with Mr. Takashi Ishizuka, Vice Director of Urban Department, Ministry of Land and Infrastructure, Japan.
At the reception, Mr. Takashi Ishizuka expressed his impression on the development of Binh Duong and of Viet Nam in general. He paid special attention to the project of Becamex Tokyu and emphasized that the Ministry was willing to support Binh Duong in urban development.
After the introduction on provincial socio-economic status, Vice Chairman Liem informed that Japan currently topped the chart of foreign investors in Binh Duong with 231 projects, US$ 4.9 billion. The province will continue the construction of routes to connect Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City. He believes the cooperation between Viet Nam and Japan will grow steadily, and the operation of Becamex Tokyu would contribute to the development of provincial public transportation.
