Provincial leaders to welcome Yamaguchi senior delegation of Japan
BEGIC - On August, a senior delegation of Yamaguchi province (Japan) led by Mr. Tsugumasa Murakao, Governor of Yamaguchi province, and Mr. Motonari Hatahara, Chairman of Yamaguchi province People’s Council, arrived and had a working session with Binh Duong province at provincial Administrative Center.

On behalf provincial Party Committee, Mr. Mai The Trung welcomed the visit from the delegation to Binh Duong province, and hoped that Yamaguchi province could exchange their experiences in investment attraction, especially investments from Japanese enterprises, with Binh Duong province. Binh Duong province Party Secretary also hoped that Japanese government would continue to support Binh Duong to develop socio-economic condition; urther strengthen the cooperative relation in all fields between the two provinces of Binh Duong and Yamaguchi in the future. Mr. Mai The Trung also thanked Yamaguchi leadership for assisting Japanese businesses in learning the investment environment of Binh Duong, and wished the delegation to have a successful visit.

Mr. Tsugumasa Murakao, Governor of Yamaguchi province, thanked Binh Duong leadership for welcoming the delegation. He was impressed with the development of Binh Duong province. After the cooperative memorandum signing of comprehensive development with Binh Duong, Yamaguchi province has implemented specific programs, including organizing delegations of Japanese firms to survey Binh Duong investment environment, delegations of Yamaguchi universities for exchanges with Binh Duong students. He stressed that the memorandum signing was a new step in the cooperative relationship between Yamguchi and Binh Duong province.

On the same day, the Yamaguchi senior delegation also worked with leaders of Binh Duong province People's Council, People's Committee. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Nam said, the cooperation memorandum signing was an extremely important milestone contributing to strengthening strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan in general, and a foundation for strengthening the friendly cooperation relation towards mutual understanding, sustainable development of the two provinces.
 
The Chairman expressed his pleasure to witness a positive and effective development of the friendly cooperative relation. The two sides have made an attempt to exchange to develop specific cooperation plans. This visit of the delegation was an opportunity for leaders to exchange and agree on performing the memorandum, accelerate cooperation in all fields for mutual prosperity; simultaneously, in order for Yamaguchi to learn more about socio-economic condition, infrastructure, key projects as well as development direction of Binh Duong province.
  
   
 
Mr. Tsugumasa Murakao, Governor of Yamaguchi province, thanked provincial leaders for the warm welcome, and affirmed that the relationship between Japan and Vietnam had developed closely, especially in economic relation. More and more Yamaguchi enterprises have been interested in investment in Vietnam. In the future, Yamaguchi government will jointly organize exchange activities between enterprises and universities of the two provinces.
 
He emphasized that the visit of the delegation marked the start of the friendly cooperation between the two provinces in the near future, was a chance to implement exchanges in various fields. After the visit, the delegation will inform Yamaguchi enterprises of the good investment environment in Binh Duong. He hoped that the cooperation between the two provinces would develop sustainably in the future.
 
Also at the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on socio-economic condition, investment environment, tax, land policies, power supply of Binh Duong province…
 
Earlier, the delegation visited and signed the agreement to exchange student between Eastern International University and Yamaguchi University.
   
 
Currently, Japanese enterprises have invested 232 projects with total investment of $4.9 billion in Binh Duong, and Japan is ranked first among 39 countries having investments in Binh Duong.
