Consul General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City visits Binh Duong Province
BEGIC-On April, at the provincial hall, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Consul General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the reception, Consul Bitter appreciated the rapid development of Binh Duong Province in recent years. It is currently a potential investment environment - one of the best choices of American enterprises when investing in auxiliary industries which apply high technology and eco-friendly. In the future, the Consulate General promised to facilitate and boost the investment cooperation between Binh Duong Province and the United States. Consul General also wished Chairman Nam successfully fulfills his duties in this term, boosting provincial socio-economic development.
Chairman of the People's Committee appreciated the cooperation relations between Viet Nam and the United States in general and the relations between Binh Duong and the United States in specific. Currently the United States is ranked 7th among 39 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong with 80 projects and US$630 million of investment capital. Chairman Nam hoped local enterprises could learn from American ones through particular activities, especially in human resources training. He believed the relations between two localities would grow steadily in the future and committed effective coordination in helping American enterprises in the province.
