Provincial leaders offer investment certificate for AEONMALL Binh Duong Co., Ltd.
BEGIC - On August 4, at the provincial People’s Committee office (level 16, administration center), Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of Binh Duong province People’s Committee awarded investment certificate for AEONMALL Binh Duong Co., Ltd.
  
At the ceremony, Mr. Yukio Konishi – Director General of AEONMALL Vietnam and AEONMALL Binh Duong said that since 2009, the company has deployed several projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Hanoi with total investment capital of approximately US$ 512 million. In Binh Duong province, AEONMALL Binh Duong would hire a large space at AEON Binh Duong Canary, serving its long-term operation. It is scheduled to open in November 2014.

Mr. Yukio Konishi thanked Binh Duong authorities for creating many favorable conditions for the project to finish and come into operation, serving people’s demand. The shopping center would provide high quality products and qualified services, generate jobs and increase domestic goods production to supply for AEON supermarket chains.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Le Thanh Cung appreciated the construction and operation of AEON Binh Duong. He believed the shopping center would operate effectively and successfully. Provincial leaders promised to create favorable conditions for the project to complete on time. He also encouraged the company to deploy other projects in Binh Duong Industry - Urban and Services Complex.

AEONMALL Retail Group originated in Japan, established for more than 200 years, having 120 shopping centers in 14 countries (8 Asian countries).
 
AEON Binh Duong investment certificate was issued in March 2013, the shopping center is adjacent to Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (Thuan An town). Total investment capital of the project is US$ 95 million; total area of 6 hectares, the area under construction is 75,000m2 in which the shopping center makes up 45,000 m2.
 
In the center, apart from Vietnamese products, there are many Japanese fashion, household articles, interior decoration brands that first appear in Vietnam.
