At the meeting, Mr. Zhou Quan stated that Quangdong Province currently has over 2800 businesses that provide environmental protection solutions. In 2012, the province spent more than RMB 220 billions on environment conservation programs and there are 20,000 projects that have been done. Since the industrial parks model in Guangdong and Binh Duong have many things in common, Guangdong could use its modern technology to treat Binh Duong waste water from industrial parks. He hoped that in the future, two provinces would carry out many more environment protection projects.

   

After the meeting, Binh Duong People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem expressed his thanks to the Association regarding to environment protection in Binh Duong’s industrial parks. With the guideline “Development goes together with environment protection”, Binh Duong has performed well on environment conservation. Provincial authorities promised that they will create more favorable conditions for Guangdong businesses to carry out protection programs in Binh Duong.
