At the meeting, Chairman Le Thanh Cung introduced the brief information of geographic location and development of Binh Duong province. He highly appreciated the Japanese projects deploying in Binh Duong province includingTokyu Binh Duong Garden City. He also emphasized that the working visit of the Japanese delegation is the motive force for the Binh Duong Tokyu Garden City project. Binh Duong authority committed to create the favorable conditions to this project in order to complete as planned.

Speaking in the event, Minister Hata Yuichiro expressed his impression on Binh Duong development especially its infrastructure and transport systems. He informed that Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism has planned to construct the ecological urban area in Vietnam and Binh Duong province is chosen as the first destination. Binh Duong Tokyu Garden City project is the stepping stone on accelerating the deployment of other projects of Japan in Vietnam generally and in Binh Duongprovince particularly in the coming time.
