Binh Duong’s leader met with delegation of JICA (Japan)
BEGIC – Aug 23rd, at the Binh Duong People’s Committee hall, Vice Chairman Binh Duong People’s Committee Tran Thanh Liem received the delegation of JICA in which had Mr.Tatematsu as leader, Director of Deparment 3 who was responsible for Aseanian projects. This working visit of JICA was to aim to assess and inspect progress of small project No.1 under Project of improving water environment in South of Binh Duong province.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem announced to the delegation the progress of small project no.1 in Thu Dau Mot district which was implemented promptly, concurred and advocated by local community. He hoped that it would be supported continuously by Japan government to increase its effect, and begin small project No.2 in Thuan An district and Ba Bo canal in the province.
At the end of the meeting, JICA’s delegation surveyed some projects. From 23rd Aug to 31st Aug 2011, they will be working there, as the plan, to inspect the progress of projects at stage 1 sponsored by Japan government; after this working visit, a memorandum also will be signed, which is basis to add capital and approve new projects.
