Lotte Group started with the establishment of Lotte Confectionary Company in 1967. Having strongly developed in the 1970s and becoming the largest enterprise of South Korea in the food industry, commercial center, distribution, tourism, etc., currently Lotte Group is the fifth largest ones in South Korea. By 2008, Lotte Group had 52 member companies in total.

 

In the working trip to Binh Duong this time, Lotte – Vietnam wants to explore investment opportunities to build commercial center (Lotte Mart) to provide catering services, shopping, entertainments for individuals and families. According to Mr. Hong Pyong Gyu, Binh Duong is a promising destination and a potential market of Lotte Viet Nam because in addition to strong development in industrial sector, the province is located in the southern key economic zone of Vietnam.
