According to the reports of Center for Application of Advanced Science and Technology, by September 2010, 265 projects with the approved budget of more than VND163 billions have been implemented in the fields of: farming (43.4%), animal breeding (17.74%), biotechnology (22.64%), new energy (5.66%), other fields (10.57%).
Besides, the Centers for Application of Advanced Science and Technology also send their officials abroad for experiences exchanges and training on vegetables production and preservation, urban tree breed and plantation, gene transformation of tree breed, modified starch production, biology medication and functional food production, boat painting, etc.
At this conference, participants concentrated on discussing the following issues: application of advanced science and technology at regional areas; experience sharing through achievements gained in 2009-2010, learning applied model and technology transfer; solution and orientation for capacity enhancement of Centers for Application of Advanced Science and Technology in 2011 and following years.
