At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Kim Anh - Director of SPX Express Viet Nam said that SPX Express is the logistics department of Shopee. In Viet Nam, SPX Express is present in 63 provinces and cities across the country and constantly strives to improve infrastructure, fulfilling its commitment to providing optimal and effective delivery solutions and services, contributing to promoting strong growth of the digital economy. In 2023, SPX put into operation a large automated sorting center at Viet Nam - Singapore Industrial Park in Bac Ninh.
In order to meet the needs of the rapidly growing e-commerce industry and digital economy, SPX continues to coordinate with Sea Group (Shopee's parent company) to build a sorting center with automatic conveyor belts installed in the southern region and located in Binh Duong province. This will be a bridge to help products from sellers, enterprises and brands reach consumers more quickly, safely and reliably.

Mr. Lim Hua Tiong - General Director of Frasers Property Viet Nam said that morning, July 16, SPX Express held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project at BDIP Premium Industrial Park (Phu Tan Industrial Park, Thu Dau Mot City). This is an industrial park developed by Frasers Property Viet Nam, designed and built according to a high-end industrial real estate model towards a green industrial park model achieving LEED certification (international standard for building energy-saving projects and protecting the human living environment). He said that, with the infrastructure system of Binh Duong province and the industrial real estate development experience of Frasers Property Viet Nam, this sorting center will serve as SPX's largest and most modern automated sorting center in the southern region.

Appreciating SPX's project in Binh Duong, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh said that in the province's development orientation, along with increasing investment attraction in industries, the province prioritizes attracting investment in high-quality service industries, gradually changing the economic structure towards increasing the proportion of trade and services. The province has invested in building synchronous infrastructure, industrial - urban - service belts associated with traffic belts with convenient connections to airports and seaports. Provincial leaders welcome, support, and will create favorable conditions in implementing the project to build an automated sorting center in Binh Duong province.
