At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi welcomed the Minister of State and Indian enterprises to attend the event of Horasis India Meeting 2022 in Binh Duong. The Meeting is held in the context that both Vietnam and India have overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, especially towards the 50th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Informing the Minister of State and Indian enterprises, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that Binh Duong province is ready and prepared the necessary conditions to ensure the best environment for Indian enterprises to learn and develop cooperation. The province is committed to creating all favorable conditions and believes that Indian enterprises that come to invest in Binh Duong will reap success.
Mr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh emphasized that, over the past 50 years, the cooperation relationship between India and Vietnam has developed very well and is getting tighter. India is very open in investment and cooperation with Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular. He highly appreciated the socio-economic achievements that Binh Duong province has achieved over the past time and believed that with the available conditions, Binh Duong is an attractive destination for Indian enterprises to invest and promises potential for further development in the future.

Sharing more at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh also informed Indian enterprises about the socio-economic development situation of Binh Duong province. With an open and attractive investment environment, in recent years, Binh Duong has always been one of the leading provinces and cities in Vietnam in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). Particularly in the 8 months of 2022, it has attracted 2 billion 619 million USD of FDI capital. The province currently has 4,069 FDI projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly 39.6 billion USD. Binh Duong is currently ranked second in the country in terms of FDI attraction, after Ho Chi Minh City. Up to now, India ranks 23rd out of 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong with 10 projects and total investment capital of more than 116 million USD. The main fields of investment are medical instruments, processing industry, manufacturing, pasteurization of agricultural products and food, etc.

Sharing about investment cooperation opportunities in Binh Duong, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Board of Directors' Chairman of Becamex IDC Corp said that Binh Duong province always creates favorable conditions for Becamex and Indian enterprises to exchange information on investment cooperation opportunities, especially in industries suitable for the requirements of building a new type of ecosystem to develop Industry 4.0 in the province in the future. At the same time, he hoped that, after the bilateral dialogue, between Becamex and the Confederation of Indian Enterprises will soon sign a memorandum of understanding so that the two sides can lay the foundation for cooperation and exploit the strengths of the sides for the next stage.
