The Bach Dang Walking Street project was started in August 2017, with an area of over 2.4 hectares, a length of 762m with a total investment of more than 650 billion VND. In which, the construction cost is about 434 billion VND, the rest is the cost of compensation and site clearance. This section of road connects from Bach Dang - Ngo Quyen intersection (Phu Cuong ward) along the Saigon River, crosses under Phu Cuong Bridge and ends at Huynh Van Cu - Nguyen Van Cu intersection (Chanh My ward). The project has a 15m wide walking park running along the banks of the Saigon River with many trees, miniature landscape item, drainage system, street lights and modern decorative lights.

Bach Dang Walking Street is arranged including subdivisions, such as: Cultural, arts, entertainment and recreation areas; general sales area; Food court, dining, souvenir, handicrafts areas, etc. Since then, gradually developing services and cultural tourism associated with Thu land - Binh Duong.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thu Cuc - Chairman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee said that the renovation and upgrading of central roads to create a spacious, clean, beautiful, civilized and modern urban face is also one of the major policies focused on investment by the city. The people of Thu Dau Mot City have been looking forward to the day when the project is completed and put into operation to create a beautiful place, ideal for residents and tourists to stop by, visit, shop, entertain, watch the busy streets and regenerate energy after hours of hard work.
