At the meeting, Mr. Phan Dang Son said that the VAA has the main function of theoretical research - criticism - practice test in the development of planning - architecture in Vietnam. Over the past time, the Association has played a key role in the Prime Minister's Architectural Advisory Council advising the Prime Minister on the overall development orientation of the national construction planning and the selection of major national designs; effective social criticism, preventing many architectural programs in the wrong direction, negatively affecting society.
At the same time, together with local associations to participate in related programs for effective and quality local socio-economic development, etc.
In order for the cooperation and exchange of experiences between the VAA and Binh Duong province in the field of architecture and planning to be successful and effective, the Chairman+ of the VAA wanted Binh Duong province to organize a full, extensive and effective implementation of the Law on Architecture in the locality, clearly defining the contribution role of the Association and the local architectural community. Besides, organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 06/NQ-TW of the Politburo on planning, construction, management and sustainable development of urban areas in Vietnam to 2030 with a vision to 2050. At the same time, creating conditions for the Architects Association of the province and other provinces and cities in the Southeast region to participate in timely and quality coordination in local planning, architecture and urban construction programs.

Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha thanked the delegation of the VAA for visiting and sharing many good experiences with the province. For the recommendations and proposals of the Association, the province will direct the effective implementation, especially the Law on Architecture and relevant regulatory documents. The Vice Chairman of the PPC suggested that the VAA pay attention to coordinate with the Ministry of Construction to guide the locality in building the provincial architectural management database. Along with that, the Association will directly participate, guide and advise Binh Duong in the province's urban development planning as well as allocate qualified and dedicated architects to support Binh Duong. At the same time, strengthening seminars, trainings and conferences in Binh Duong province and other provinces and cities in the region, in order to create conditions for managers to be aware of the importance of architecture, contributing to better implementation of direction, management, administration as well as more effective implementation of tasks in the field of architecture and planning in the locality.
