Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visits and give gifts to families under preferential treatment policy in Di An city

​PORTAL - On the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on the afternoon of July 18, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) visited and gave gifts to families under preferential treatment policy in Di An city.

​The delegation visited and gave gifts to Ms. Le Thi Nao (99 years old), who had revolutionary merits in Tan Binh ward and disadvantaged beneficiaries under preferential treatment policy in Binh Thang ward, including: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kieu (84 years old), mother of martyr Le Tan Cong; Mr. Nguyen Van Thien (92 years old), a resistance activist who was imprisoned and exiled by the enemy; Mr. Phan Xuan Ky (87 years old), a victim of toxic chemicals;  Mr. Nguyen Trong Dam (85 years old), 4/4 rank war invalid and Mr. Huynh Thanh Son (72 years old), 1/4 rank war invalid.

At the places visited, Mr. Vo Van Minh graciously inquired the health and living conditions of the families; listened, shared and expressed his deep gratitude for the losses and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers and families under preferential treatment policy during the resistance wars for national independence. At the same time, he encouraged family members to promote the revolutionary tradition, strive to overcome difficulties and diseases to stabilize their lives, actively participate in emulation movements for socio-economic development, building cultural life in residential areas.

The Chairman of the PPC asked the local Party Committees, authorities and mass organizations to continue to do well in the work of gratitude, caring and helping, taking care of the material and spiritual life of beneficiaries under preferential treatment policy and people with meritorious services in the area.
