At the meeting, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - President of the Vietnam WU Central Committee gave brief information on the success of the 13th National Women's Congress. Accordingly, there were 995 delegates attending the Congress. The Congress consulted to elect 155 delegates to join the new Executive Committee, and at the same time set out 8 key target groups and action programs in the new tenure.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi congratulated the 13th National Women's Congress on a great success. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that in 2021, Binh Duong was one of the localities heavily affected by the pandemic, but with the efforts and consensus of the entire political system, the enthusiastic support of the enterprise community, especially the consensus of all classes of people, so far the province has basically controlled the pandemic, socio-economic activities have returned to normal, effectively realizing the dual goal. In 2021 and the first months of 2022, the province's socio-economic development has achieved and exceeded in many fields in comparison to the set plan. The Secretary emphasized that among those outstanding results, there was the active and important contribution of the Women's Unions at all levels in the province. According to the direction of the Government, in the coming time, Binh Duong must develop to new heights, towards comprehensive, green, smart and sustainable development. Therefore, the Secretary hoped that socio-political organizations, including the Women's Union, would accompany the province to carry out their tasks. Specifically, organizing practical movements, meeting the development criteria of the province, in activities, there must be a specific plan, a long-term strategy, especially to keep up with the trends and requirements of the times, in parallel with the care and life support for women members. The Secretary hoped that the Binh Duong WU would continue to promote the results achieved and make the Union's movement more and more developed.

After a courtesy meeting with the provincial leaders, the delegation visited and worked with the Provincial WU. At the meeting, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - President of the Vietnam WU Central Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the Unions at all levels, overcoming difficulties and accompanying the province in pandemic prevention and control. She said that the Union at all levels and its members have well promoted their roles, sense of responsibility, are ready to dedicate and actively participate in social activities. She hoped that in the coming time, the Binh Duong women's movement will continue to promote creativity and work with the government to successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress and the 13th National Party Congress. Activities must go into depth, have highlights, meet the needs of women's rights, and attract women's participation. Based on the programs and projects of the 13th National Women's Congress, the Provincial WU orients and concretizes the contents close to local realities and meeting the needs of women.
