During the period from July 01, 2016 to July 01, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee led and directed localities and units to do well in citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement. Thereby, the situation of complaints and denunciations in the province has achieved many positive changes, there are no "hot spots", the annual settlement rate of applications is high. At the same time, promptly settling complaints about officials related to personnel work, serving the Party Congress at all levels and the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, contributing to stabilizing the political security situation, social order and safety in the province and successfully completing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels.
During the period, the province received 22,966 times of citizens, of which, regular citizen reception 15,092 times, periodic reception of leaders 7,713 times, irregular reception of leaders 161 times.

The number of days to receive citizens periodically by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was 53 days, the Chairman of the District People's Committee was 1,080 days, and the commune level was 21,749 days. Particularly for the citizen receptions of Heads of provincial-level agencies, units, departments and branches, the following schedule were arranged as prescribed. The total number of applications received (including through citizen reception) was 18,050 applications.
The total number of applications, complaint and denunciation cases has been resolved 1,984/2,035 applications, reaching 97.5%. The dialogue in complaint settlement under the competence of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the People's Committees of the districts, towns and cities was carried out fully, seriously and with the right members according to regulations.
At the supervision session, the deputies clarified the shortcomings and problems related to the role of officials in charge of receiving citizens, the role of the grassroots in receiving and handling complaints; operation structure of the Citizen reception board, regulations on citizen reception; settlement process of denunciations and complaints; the settlement of denunciations and complaints must ensure the rationality and reasonableness, especially in complicated and prolonged cases; strengthening dialogue in the settlement of complaints and denunciations, etc.

Speaking at the supervision session, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh said that Binh Duong is one of the developed provinces and cities with a large number of workers, but the lawsuits are not many compared to other localities, this is considered the bright spot of the province. In general, the province has handled the denunciation and complaint cases well. He requested the Citizen Reception board to review and absorb the comments of the deputies and make adjustments as well as report back to the Supervisory delegation as soon as possible.
Concluding the supervision session, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan assessed that the supervision session had an exchange and clearly explained the opinions raised by the deputies, but it still did not cover all issues, so the Supervisory delegation will continue to have specific working sessions with branches. He suggested that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee further strengthen dialogue and citizen reception; the Provincial People's Committee and branches need to review long-standing lawsuits, take the initiative to remove and resolve them completely, etc.
