Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Binh Duong has been and is one of the leading localities in the country in industrial production, attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). The Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, local authorities and people who have spent a lot of resources, with innovative ways to invest in upgrading and improving infrastructure conditions, especially connected transport infrastructure, industrial and service infrastructure, creating a basic foundation for attracting investment, especially foreign direct investment, in order to promote development, economic and social growth and improve people's living standards. The Prime Minister believed that Binh Duong would develop a breakthrough economy in the coming time, creating a driving force for socio-economic promotion to serve the people and the country.
The Prime Minister suggested the province build a new-generation industrial ecosystem, associated with the development of industry 4.0, contributing to building an independent and self-reliant economy. At the same time, continuing to create favorable conditions to support investors.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Preben Elef - Vice President of LEGO Group emphasized, the Granting Investment Registration Certificates Ceremony is the Group's first important milestone, paving the way for the groundbreaking and commencement ceremony of the LEGO factory in Vietnam. This is the largest project from a Danish company in the Vietnam-Danish relationship ever. The Group is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children - future creators. The project is developed sustainably using rooftop solar and solar fields. The factory in Binh Duong will be the Group's most sustainable factory in the world in terms of design and construction and will be operated with modern equipment; ensuring a safe and quality play experience for all children in Vietnam and across Asia Pacific. The project will create jobs for thousands of skilled workers.
It is known that up to now, there have been 31 domestic and foreign corporations and companies interested in exploring the possibility of production development in VSIP III, equivalent to 176ha of industrial land and 1.8 billion USD of expected investment capital.
