PORTAL - Within the framework of a working visit to Germany, on March 08,
the delegation of Binh Duong province led by Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao – Permanent
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with the
Ministry of Science and Arts, State of Hessen, Federal Republic of Germany.
Also attending the meeting were the Consul General of Vietnam in Frankfurt Le Quang Long and Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Manuel Stock, Chief of Office of the Hessen State's Ministry of Science and Arts expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation visiting after a long time of exchange activities between the two sides were interrupted because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Manuel Stock thanked Binh Duong province's leaders for their interest in supporting the activities of Vietnamese-German University in the province and said that this is a lighthouse project in the relationship between the two countries, which will contribute to training high quality human resources for the province, especially in the field of renewable energy and environment.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao expressed his gratitude to the Hessen state government for supporting the quick test kit for Binh Duong when the province was heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and affirmed that provincial leaders always pay attention to and create the best conditions for Vietnamese-German University's activities.
Briefly introducing the socio-economic situation of the province, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao said that, with the rapid development, being in the top 5 provinces and cities of Vietnam today, Binh Duong will have a great demand for high-quality human resources, including students of Vietnamese-German University.
Regarding human resources, Consul General Le Quang Long suggested that the two sides could cooperate to build a parallel vocational training school following the German model.
Agreeing with this proposal, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao suggested that Binh Duong and Hessen could sign a cooperation agreement between the two sides to promote cooperation in this field and invited Hessen state leaders to visit Binh Duong to discuss more specifically.
