​PORTAL - On the afternoon of March 15, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the report of the Project on consolidating, enhancing and developing human resources (HR) and facilities in the Education and Training (ET) branch for the 2021 - 2025 period, with an orientation to 2030 (hereinafter referred to as Project).​

Accordingly, the Project is implemented with the aim of ensuring sufficient qualified HR to successfully implement preschool and general education curriculum, apply digital transformation to teaching and learning activities and educational management. At the same time, increasing investment in teaching facilities and equipment to improve the quality of education, bring into full play the capacity and quality of students, drastically change the ET effectiveness according to the trend of international integration in order to implement the Program "Developing and improving the quality of HR, meeting the requirements of building Binh Duong for sustainable development in the direction of a smart, civilized and modern city".

With the socio-economic development of the province now and in the future, the population of Binh Duong province will increase rapidly every year and lead to an increase in the number of preschool children and general school students. Therefore, the province strengthens the direction of the ET branch to focus on consolidating, developing and improving the quality of teachers, developing facilities in the direction of standardization, investing in equipment sufficient to meet the requirements of reforming the general education curriculum, organizing teaching 02 sessions/day; at the same time, conducts practical research, consider consulting issues of the ET branch to promulgate local policies for the branch, in order to overcome limitations and inadequacies, and solve "bottlenecks" in educational innovation.

Based on the specific striving goals set forth by the Provincial People's Committee, the ET branch develops a deployment plan and organizes the implementation for each year and period. In which, the main content is investing in HR and facilities to meet the requirements of deploying and implementing the new general education curriculum and textbooks. Specifically, in 2021, developing a deployment plan and organizing the implementation of the Project "Consolidating, strengthening and developing HR and facilities of the ET branch in Binh Duong province for the 2021-2025 period".

In addition, in order to consolidate and improve the quality of education in an advanced, modern and sustainable direction, the ET branch develops implementation plans in the field of education development such as: Investing in modern and advanced teaching equipment for shared classrooms; investing in STEM classrooms; piloting the organization of teaching by FABLAB; Plan to develop the model of secondary schools to create resources and high-quality high schools; raising the rate of schools reaching national standards, building high schools for international integration, etc.

Overview of the meeting

To ensure the scientific, objective and effective in the implementation of the Project for the 2021-2025 period, the ET branch well ensures the summarization and evaluation of the results of the work of consolidating, improving and developing HR and facilities, thereby drawing lessons for the next period.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha asked the ET branch to coordinate with relevant branches to properly statistics and forecast the population situation and upcoming needs of each locality and region to ensure the land fund, quantity, size and facilities in each school; in which special attention is paid to the work of socialization of education. For the teaching staff, it is necessary to have a specific plan to supplement HR every year, with an orientation to 2030 to avoid the situation of excess and shortage of teachers.
