As reported by the Department of Health, in the past 7 days (from March 07, 2022 to March 13, 2022), the province recorded 27,191 new cases of Covid-19 (increased by 83.7% compared to the previous week), an average of 3,884 cases were announced every day.
Assessing the pandemic level in the week, the entire province has 44 communes, wards and towns at level 1 (decreased by 24 communes compared to the previous week); 18 communes, wards and towns at level 2 (decreased by 03 communes compared to the previous week); 29 communes, wards and towns at level 3 (increased by 27 communes, wards and towns compared to the previous week). Particularly, Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district have 100% of communes, wards and towns at level 3.
Overview of the meeting
During the week, 3,830 2nd doses of vaccine were administered to subjects aged 12-17 in the province, cumulatively 190,251 1st doses and 161,917 2nd doses were administered (reaching 85.1% of the 2nd dose/1st dose). Simultaneously, 69,851 3rd doses were administered to subjects 18 years of age and older. Cumulatively, 2,475,134 1st doses, 1,926,824 2nd doses and 1,280,181 3rd doses have been administered (reaching 66.4% of the 3rd dose/2nd dose).
The Department of Health continues to deploy vaccination "more speedily" to achieve the goal of completing the 3rd dose in March 2022; vaccinate 2nd dose for remaining children aged 12-17 years old and people aged 18 years and older, develop a plan to organize vaccination for children 5-11 years old when the Ministry of Health provides vaccines. At the same time, well implementing pandemic prevention and control in schools, maintaining and developing the grassroots health system, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi assessed that the pandemic situation is still under control despite an increase in infections, most of which are children, students and teachers. Currently, there are still 15-20% of those who have vaccinated but have not entered data or have information errors and also due to population changes, therefore, the Secretary requested the localities and branches to quickly review and compare the data entry. In the next 3 days, the data review must be completed. On the other hand, localities need to well prepare vaccination plans for children aged 5-11, grasp the grassroots situation, consolidate and develop the grassroots health system; remove difficulties and obstacles in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment, etc.
