Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Chuong - Director of the Department of Health shared, looking back on 2021, a challenging and difficult year for the province's Health branch. In the fight against Covid-19 there were sacrifices and losses, but the team of medical staff turned the pain into action. The reinforcement forces as well as the frontline forces inside and outside the province have done all they can, day or night, with efforts and determination to prevent and repel the pandemic. At the same time, taking the best possible care for people's lives, health and lives, with the motto: "People's lives and health are first and foremost". Along with that, there were 60 delegations supporting Binh Duong with over 3,400 people, including doctors, nurses, technicians and medical students; contributed to helping Binh Duong province to basically control the pandemic situation, gradually restore the socio-economic situation, and stabilize the people's life.

Ministry of Health, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee; the effective coordination of departments, branches, mass organizations and support of the entire society, especially with the efforts of all officials, civil servants and public employees of the Health branch, the work of protecting and taking care of people's health in the province has achieved important results. Specifically, the grassroots health network is strengthened and consolidated; medical facilities ensure the good implementation of normal medical examination and treatment activities during the period of social distancing; public healthcare is the key in carrying out regular medical examination and treatment activities and Covid-19 treatment, ensuring people have access to medical examination and treatment services. The Health branch has also actively received administrative procedures by post, through online public services at levels 3 and 4 to promptly handle people and enterprises.

Speaking to direct the conference, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the medical staff, doctors and frontline forces. He affirmed that these sacrifices and dedications have made an important contribution to repel the pandemic, and together with the entire province, well implement the "dual goal" of both pandemic prevention and control and socio-economic development under the motto of "safe and flexible adaptation, effective control over the Covid-19 pandemic". Forecasting that the pandemic situation in the world and in the country is still complicated and unpredictable, he asked the Health branch and the entire political system to continue to focus on the task of pandemic prevention and control; renew, consolidate and perfect the health system, review policies and regimes to attract human resources, and be proactive in medical supplies and equipment for medical examination and treatment. He hoped that the Health branch would continue to promote its achievements and successfully complete its tasks in 2022.
