At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation; Covid-19 prevention and control; and some development orientations of Binh Duong province in the coming time. Accordingly, over the past 20 years, Binh Duong and Singapore have made breakthroughs in cooperation and development, notably the construction of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) in Binh Duong and many provinces and cities throughout the country. Up to now, Binh Duong has attracted foreign investment reaching 37 billion USD, Singapore alone accounts for about 1/5 of the total investment capital with 260 enterprises, including large corporations that have invested, operated effectively and successfully in the province.
