According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, as of October 05, 2021, the entire province has spent support under Resolution 04/2021/NQ-HDND for 1,322,607 cases, with the amount of 396,782 billion VND and support under Decision 12/2021/QD-UBND for 1,296,957 cases, with the amount of 648,478 billion VND.
However, according to statistics, up to now, some localities still have not received support from provincial policies. Explaining this, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hang - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that the omission of subjects had objective and subjective reasons. In the short term, localities have to implement many supportive policies in parallel with the fight against the pandemic. In addition, in August and September 2021, the entire province must devote all efforts to support and fight the pandemic in 15 "lockdown and freeze" wards of Thuan An City, Di An City and Tan Uyen Town. Wards in 03 localities above have a very large population; many wards have over 100,000 people, which can be equivalent to another district. Meanwhile, many ward and quarter officials were infected with Covid-19, or boarding house owners for various reasons did not make or were slow to make lists of requests for support for people.
Ms. Hang further explained, regarding the subject of support, the regulations apply to people aged 15 years and over, who are engaged in labor and have difficulties. That is, there must be the factor of difficulty and be present at the time of making the list (in August 2021) to receive support.
