​PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, from 6:00 to 17:00 on July 30, 2021, Binh Duong recorded an additional 636 cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases of the day to 1,920 cases.

​​Among 1,920 Covid-19 cases, 64 were detected at medical facilities, 1,067 were in the isolation area, 231 were in the blockade area, and 558 were through community screening.

Locally, Di An city 1,031 cases; Thuan An city 638 cases; Phu Giao district 109 cases; Bau Bang district 18 cases; Thu Dau Mot City 24 cases; Ben Cat Town 14 cases; Tan Uyen town 17 cases; Dau Tieng district 14 cases and other provinces and cities 55 cases.

During the day, 164 more patients recovered.

Cases by locality in the last 2 days

Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 12,604 cases of Covid-19; 932 patients recovered; 62 patients died.

The health sector is treating 6,063 patients (newly detected patients are being transferred to treatment areas and some asymptomatic F0 patients are still isolated in temporary isolation areas); including 105 pregnant women, 86 people over 65 years old, 348 people with underlying diseases, 248 people with severe disease (4.4%).

The province has 16 treatment areas for Covid-19 patients with the number of beds that can accommodate 17,240 people.

From July 17, 2021, the Department of Health implemented a large-scale testing campaign by rapid test and RT-PCR test in all localities in the province. After 13 days of implementation, samples were taken for 1,034,398 people, the results detected 11,022 people suspected of having Covid-19 (rate of 1.1%).

Currently, there are 1,100 areas under blockade with 107,867 people; 126 concentrated isolation area with 18,969 people in isolation and 2,533 cases of F1 isolated at home.

Facing the complicated situation of the epidemic, the province will invest in more concentrated isolation areas to ensure 50,000 beds and expand to 100,000 beds; adding patient treatment area to meet 5,000 beds and raise it to 20,000 beds. Expeditiously procure materials, equipment, tests, biological products, etc. to ensure that all emergency response requirements are met; investing in 60 ventilators, oxygen masks, SP02 oxygen concentration meter etc. for treatment. At the same time, timely, effective and right implementation according to Resolution 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government.
