PORTAL - On the morning of July 24, in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held a Launching ceremony of large-scale vaccination and disinfection spray for Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, committees and branches.
The large-scale vaccination and disinfection campaign for Covid-19 prevention and control in Binh Duong province is an important event with the goal of affirming the very high determination of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in preventing and responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, best protecting the people's health and life; soon bringing Binh Duong back to normal status to continue developing according to the set goals.
The goal of this campaign is to vaccinate the entire population free of charge in the province to achieve herd immunity. At the same time, the province will carry out large-scale disinfection spray to quickly eliminate risk factors, contributing to protecting a healthy living environment for people.
Rehearsal of disinfection spray to prevent and control Covid-19
Over the past time, the use of vaccines in the province has received the consensus and sharing of the people because of the practical benefits of vaccination (helping the immune system of the vaccinated person be able to recognize and destroy the SARS-CoV-2 virus; reducing the risk of Covid-19 infection in the community; vaccine + 5K = Effective prevention measure). The first doses of vaccines in Binh Duong were injected for the frontline force fighting the pandemic. Vaccines have been distributed according to the principles of fairness, equality, openness, transparency, flexibility and efficiency. Currently, Binh Duong is preparing to deploy the next phases of vaccinations for priority groups. At the same time, actively preparing the necessary conditions in terms of facilities and human resources to carry out the large-scale vaccination in the whole province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh praised the sacrifice and serious work of the frontline forces, especially the Health, Army, and Police forces who did not mind the difficulties in participating in the fight against the pandemic and had practical initiatives that were highly appreciated by the Party executive committee, government and people in the province. At the same time, he thanked the Ministry of Health, individuals and organizations inside and outside the province for joining hands, sharing and wholeheartedly supporting the Covid-19 prevention and control in Binh Duong province during the past time.

He emphasized that the simultaneous deployment of large-scale vaccination and disinfection spray for pandemic prevention and control across the province leads to a very large and complicated workload. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the importance of coordination. The Health and Army forces must be the core to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to organize the implementation of the plan in a scientific and correct manner. In particular, with a large amount of vaccines, it is necessary to develop a scenario for preservation, transport, distribution, and deployment of vaccination to ensure to be fast, timely, safe and effective. In addition, focusing on propaganda and providing accurate and timely information to the people, contributing to creating social consensus, raising awareness, and creating the initiative of the people in participating in the Covid-19 prevention and control of the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that the strength of the great unity bloc will be the most important and powerful resource for the Party executive committee, government, army and people of Binh Duong province to overcome all difficulties and challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Deploying disinfection spray to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic in Thu Dau Mot city
The Health branch has developed a plan, advised the Provincial People's Committee to deploy as soon as the vaccine source is available, and organized the deployment throughout the province to quickly reach 70% of Binh Duong's population to receive the 1st dose, followed by the 2nd dose. The number of vaccines distributed to Binh Duong province in this campaign is 307,000 doses.
The campaign implements 02 forms of vaccination against Covid-19: Deploying at fixed injection sites in 91 communes, wards and towns and at mobile injection sites (100 tables) including: Industrial parks, industrial clusters and enterprises which are eligible to establish mobile injection sites.
With the maximum progress of 30,000 people/day, the campaign is planned to be carried out within half a month to fully inject the subjects. The expenses for injections without vaccines is about 50 billion VND.
It is expected that in the period of 2021-2022, Binh Duong will organize injections for about 1.2 million people over 18 years old.
In the implementation plan of this phase, the Ministry of Health stated: Vaccinated subjects are all people of the age group with indications to use the vaccine as recommended by the manufacturer, in which priority is given to the frontline forces in pandemic prevention and control, and the frontline forces in economic promotion and development. Including 16 subject groups, including medical staff; people participating in pandemic prevention and control; police force; army force; diplomatic officers, teachers, pupils, students, customs officers, immigration officers, essential service providers (aviation, transport, tourism, electricity, water); people with chronic diseases; people over 65 years old; people living in pandemic areas; the poor, beneficiaries of of social welfare, food vendors, market traders, construction workers, freelance workers; the subjects are employees, relatives of employees who are working at enterprises (including enterprises in industrial parks, export processing zones, transport, credit and tourism enterprises, etc.), essential service business establishments such as accommodation, catering, banking, health care, pharmacy, medical supplies, etc., retail and wholesale establishments, markets, construction works, people in tourist regions and areas; people who are sent by state agencies to have a business trip, study and work abroad; dignitaries, religious officials and other subjects according to the Decision of the Minister of Health or the Chairman of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities and the proposal of the vaccine aid units to the Ministry of Health.
