PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, from 6:00 to 17:00 on July 25, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 368 new infected cases, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 1,064 in the last 24 hours.
Among 1,064 infected cases, 324 cases were detected at medical facilities; 484 cases were detected at quarantine zones; 135 cases were detected at blockade areas; and 121 cases were detected through community screening
By locality, Thuan An City has 426 cases; Tan Uyen Town has 211 cases; Thu Dau Mot City has 140 cases; Ben Cat Town has 107 cases; Bau Bang District has 87 cases; Di An City has 31 cases; Bac Tan Uyen District has 19 cases; Dau Tieng District 18 cases; Phu Giao District has 04 cases and other localities have 21 cases.
Epidemic development in the last 16 days
On July 25, 2021, 201 patients recovered and 16 cases died.
From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong Province have recorded 8,010 Covid-19 cases; 589 patients have recovered; 38 patients died.
According to the Health sector, infected cases mainly live in Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen, Thu Dau Mot. The number of infected cases has increased in Bau Bang District, Tan Uyen District recently.
Cases classified by locality in the last 02 days
Currently Binh Duong has 12 treatment areas with 3,882 patients under treatments (new infected cases are transferred to treatment areas and some F0 cases without symptoms are still at temporary quarantine zones). Among the cases, there are 72 pregnant women; 44 people over 65 years old; 150 people with background diseases; 95 patients having severe development. Direct human resources include 120 doctors, 295 nurses; and 166 medical staff (in total: 581 people), 36 ventilators are used.
Binh Duong has implemented the large-scale testing plan through rapid testing and RT-PCR testing in all localities of the province. Cumulatively, after 8 days of large-scale screening testing, 865,970 people have been taken test samples, 9,049 people are suspected to be infected with Covid-19 (1%).
On July 25, 2021, the Department of Health surveyed and drafted the document about establishing a Testing Center in Ben Cat Town in order to serve the demand of the town and 4 districts in the North of the province. Currently, the Testing Center has run trial testing and the procedures will be completed on July 26, 2021. The Department of Health has issued guidelines for isolating F1 cases at home; the process of transferring cases of Covid-19 (F0) to treatment areas and hospitals assigned to receive Covid-19 treatment.
Vaccination is proposed to be conducted and complied with the principles of fairness, equality, publicity, transparency, flexibility and efficiency. In particular, priority is given to frontline forces directly on duty, workers at factories producing medical equipment, oxygen, etc. Most of employees in companies providing oxygen have been vaccinated. Rapid-response vehicle teams arranged at communes, wards have also been vaccinated today.
Currently, more than 10 provinces, units have supported the province (Ha Noi Medical University, Hai Phong Medical University, Tay Nguyen University, Hai Duong Medical Technical University; Lam Dong, Lao Cai, Quang Tri, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang); and so have 109 doctors and nurses from non-public units in Binh Duong Province with a total of 1,034 people participating in epidemic prevention and control.
In the coming time, Binh Duong will continue to organize well the coordination and classification of F0 patients. Adjust tactics to carry out screening tests according to the motto "do as steadily as you can, do as clean as you can", separate F0 from the community; study the pilot of isolation and treatment of F0 at home in Di An City; survey, prepare resources (human, material) to build more F0 treatment areas, able to accommodate 20,000 patients.
