PORTAL – According to the report of the Department of Health, from 6:00 to 18:00 on July 19, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 288 new infected cases, bringing the total number of infected cases in the day to 503.
Among 503 new cases, 286 cases were detected at quarantine zones, 85 cases were detected at blockade areas, 131 cases were detected at medical facilities, and 01 case was detected in the community.
In regard to localities, Thuan An City has 216 cases, Di An City has 116 cases, Tan Uyen Town has 85 cases, Dau Tieng District has 51 cases, Thu Dau Mot City has 03 cases, Phu Giao District has 03 cases, Ben Cat Town has 05 cases, Bau Bang District has 01 case and other provinces have 23 cases.
From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 3,147 infected cases. In which, 763 cases were detected when coming to medical clinics, 75 cases were detected at companies, offices, 01 case was detected when being tested by rapid screening before taking the national high school exam, 1,762 cases were detected at quarantine zones, 452 cases were detected at blockade areas, 107 cases were detected in the community (markets, non-blockade areas), and 05 cases were detected at epidemic control checkpoints.

During the day, 112 patients at Thuan An Medical Center have recovered, are qualified to be discharged. Cumulatively, 300 patients have recovered. Binh Duong currently has 10 treatment areas with 2,721 patients under treatments. Among the cases, there are 39 pregnant women; 28 people over 65 years old; 76 people with underlying diseases; 62 patients having severe development.
Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 3,193 infected cases (including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 3,153 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia).
Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 12,833 F1 cases, 33,723 F2 cases. The province has 11,865 cases currently in concentrated medical isolation and 24,262 cases in medical isolation at home and residence.
The whole province has established 5,788 Community Covid-19 Teams and 7,974 Covid-19 Safety Teams at enterprises.
In the near future, Binh Duong will continue to deploy large-scale testing in the community in combination with tightening the implementation of the Directive 16 of the Prime Minister in order to stop the spread of the epidemic.
