​PORTAL – According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, from 17:00 on July 15 to 6:00 on July 16, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 53 new infected cases, bringing the total number of infected cases in the province to 2,062.

Among 53 new cases, 43 cases were detected at quarantine zones, 06 cases were detected at medical facilities, and 04 cases were detected in the community. These cases are linked to the outbreak at Wanek 2 Co., Ltd (39 cases); Chanh Nghia Ward – Thu Dau Mot (05 cases); An Dien Market, Ben Cat Town (01 case); from Ho Chi Minh City: 04 cases (Binh Dien Market: 02 cases, Thu Duc wholesale market: 02 cases); through medical declarations: 05 cases (under epidemiological inspection).

From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 2,062 infected cases, 04 cases of death. In which, 400 cases were detected when coming to medical clinics, 1,222 cases were detected at quarantine zones, 343 cases were detected at lockdowns.

Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 2,108 infected cases (including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 2,068 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia). 04 cases of death, 97 cases have recovered.

Currently Binh Duong has 09 treatment areas with 1,928 patients under treatments. Among the cases, there are 39 pregnant women; 25 people over 65 years old; 52 people with underlying diseases; 24 patients having severe development.

Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 9,598 F1 cases, 31,692 F2 cases. The province has 9,669 cases currently in concentrated medical isolation and 20,739 cases in medical isolation at home and residence.

The province is deploying 24,000 doses of vaccine in the 4th Phase for objects. So far, the province has vaccinated 61,749 people (including 57,873 people who received the 1st dose; 3,876 people who received the 2nd dose. 14,853 people reacted normally after being vaccinated (24%)).

According to the newest distribution of the Ministry of Health on July 12, in this July, about 240,000 different types of doses of vaccine such as Moderna, AstraZeneca, Pfizer will be provided to Binh Duong. Beside the vaccine provided by the Ministry of Health, the Provincial People's Committee has issued the Covid-19 vaccination plan in the locality in 2021-2022 term. Accordingly, the province expects to vaccinate more than 1.45 million people, including 255,000 people who will receive free vaccination according to the Resolution 21 of the Government and 1.2 million people who will be vaccinated by using budget and socialization. The Department of Health has also built and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee the plan to vaccinate 1 million doses of vaccine, which is expected to be deployed in 2 months, from July to September, 2021.

Currently, 8/9 localities of Binh Duong are implementing social distancing according to the Directive 16 of the Government. Through patrol and inspection, functional forces have sanctioned cases who did not strictly follow the regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control according to the Directive 16, including the cases who went out unnecessarily, the stores selling unnecessary products with the fine of VND 2-15 million.
