PORTAL - On the afternoon of July 13, the Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee went to inspect the situation of pandemic prevention and control in Tan Uyen town.
Accompanying the Delegation were Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Tan Uyen town and provincial departments, committees and branches.
The Leadership delegation of the Provincial Party Committee visited and grasped the situation of organizing a 0-dong Booth for disadvantaged people and workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic at the Center for Culture, Sports and Community Learning in Thai Hoa ward. Highly appreciating this model, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the locality continue to promote and mobilize social resources to take care of people's lives in this difficult period; provide enough essential necessities for people in difficult circumstances, absolutely no one lacks food, essential necessities for daily living.

The delegation also visited and encouraged officials and students of Hanoi Medical University who are supporting Tan Uyen Town in the Covid-19 prevention and control. On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi graciously inquired about the living and accommodation conditions of the volunteers and thanked the lecturers, doctors and volunteer students who have joined hands and supported the province in pandemic prevention and control, especially participating in tracing and taking samples for testing in the area to contribute to the early repelling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visiting and grasping the situation of production and business activities associated with the implementation of measures for Covid-19 prevention and control at Response Vietnam Co., Ltd (Uyen Hung Industrial Cluster), Secretary Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the company's model of safe production organization for Covid-19 prevention and control and wished that this model would be replicated in enterprises in the province. Response Vietnam Co., Ltd is a 100% Danish-owned enterprise, specializing in the production of wooden furniture for export with about 760 workers working at the factory. To prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic, the Company has launched a program for workers to stay at the factory. Currently, the Company has more than 200 workers registered to stay at the factory.

In order to promptly encourage workers' morale, the Company has supported each case to stay at the factory 1 million VND/month. The company also creates conditions for overtime according to regulations to increase income for employees; supports breakfast 28,000 VND for workers to stay and work; awards scholarships to the children of disadvantaged workers of the Company with excellent academic achievements, 4 million VND each. With the above solutions, after 2 weeks of Covid-19 rapid test, the results of all workers staying at the factory were negative and currently, the Company has not recorded any Covid-19 cases.
A representative of Response Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic have caused the enterprise to face many difficulties in production and business activities, especially not being able to complete orders according to delivery plan for customers. To maintain 1/3 of the number of workers staying at the factory, it is a great effort of the enterprise as well as the agreement, support and sharing of workers together with the enterprise to try to overcome this difficult period.

Through the actual survey and listening to the leaders of Tan Uyen Town reporting the situation, Secretary Nguyen Van Loi suggested the town urgently focus on tracing, taking samples for testing to detect F0 cases in the community as soon as possible, and taking F0 out of the factories and enterprises, quarantining F1 so that workers can continue to work with peace of mind. In order to ensure the force for tracing, taking samples quickly, immediately, the town needs to mobilize 200 more volunteers who are youth union members to participate with the guidance and training of officials and students of Hanoi Medical University. Ensuring in the "golden time" of 14 days, together with the localities of the province, to localize and quell the outbreaks thoroughly. Strictly implementing Directive 16, if necessary, can extend the application period of Directive 16 in the town.
On the afternoon of the same day, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2021), the Provincial Party Committee's Leadership delegation visited and wished good health to the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Dinh (80 years old) in Tan Hoi hamlet, Thanh Hoi commune, Tan Uyen town. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Nguyen Van Loi graciously inquired Mother's life and activities and affirmed that today's generations always remember the gratitude and sacrifice of heroic martyrs and the incomparable loss of sacrifices of Mothers for the Fatherland. At the same time, he wished that Mothers will always be healthy, continue to live healthy, be a good example for their children and grandchildren to follow.

As reported by the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Tan Uyen Town, by the afternoon of July 13, 2021, the town recorded 186 cases of Covid-19 in the community. Through investigation and tracing, there are currently 1,338 F1 cases performing concentrated quarantine and 3,327 F2 cases performing home quarantine. Tan Uyen Town has prepared and is surveying to meet 3,237 beds to receive concentrated quarantine cases.
