​PORTAL – The Binh Duong Department of Transport (DOT) instructs the registration for issuance of identification cards for vehicles going, arriving and transiting through Ho Chi Minh City and plans to organize traffic for vehicles in transit through Ho Chi Minh City. 

Type of transport to issue the Vehicle identification card: Trucks transporting essential goods (necessities, fresh food, vegetables, etc.) from the provinces to and from Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa; trucks transporting goods for production and business, goods, cars carrying experts and workers from provinces to and from Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa, serving the activities of export processing zones, industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City; trucks transporting goods to ports from the provinces to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa; trucks transporting essential goods, trucks transporting goods for production and business, goods to ports, industrial parks, cars carrying experts and workers of export processing zones and industrial zones "transit" (pass through) Ho Chi Minh City.

Transport units send a written request with a list of vehicle parameters to Binh Duong DOT via Email: sgtvt@binhduong.gov.vn or Zalo: BINH DUONG DEPARTMENT of TRANSPORTATION. The requesting unit is responsible for the declared content.

During the implementation process, if encountering any difficulties, enterprises are requested to contact Mr. Do Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of Transportation, Vehicles and Drivers Management Division - Binh Duong DOT, phone number 0949160779.

Binh Duong DOT will receive requests from enterprises, check and send them to the DOT of Ho Chi Minh City for settlement within 24 hours.

Enterprises and units are requested to monitor information from Zalo BINH DUONG DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION and Binh Duong DOT's portal at the address: https://sgtvt.binhduong.gov.vn to print and seal their unit on the Vehicle Identification Card and attach it on the front windshield of the vehicle in the area to the right of the driver.

The police and the DOT of the relevant provinces and cities, in coordination with the interdisciplinary functional forces at the checkpoints, create favorable conditions for vehicles that have been granted Identification Cards to circulate smoothly.

The transport business units and the drivers are responsible for ensuring traffic on the right route; strictly implement pandemic prevention and control measures according to regulations of the Ministry of Health and local authorities.

Traffic organization plan for vehicles in transit through Ho Chi Minh City

1. Traffic direction from the Western provinces (Long An province) to Binh Duong province, Binh Phuoc province and vice versa:

- Route 1: National Highway 1 → National Highway 62 → National Highway N2 → Provincial Road 8 → Huynh Van Cu → National Highway 13 → Binh Duong Province, Binh Phuoc Province.

- Route 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway → National Highway 1 → National Highway 13 → Binh Duong Province, Binh Phuoc Province.

2. Traffic direction from the Western provinces (Long An province) to Dong Nai province and vice versa:

- Route 1: National Highway 1 → National Highway 62 → National Highway N2 → Provincial Road 8 → Huynh Van Cu → Pham Ngoc Thach → My Phuoc – Tan Van → National Highway 1K → Dong Nai province.

- Route 2: Provincial Road 8 - National Highway 22 → National Highway 1 → Dong Nai Bridge → National Highway 51 → Dong Nai Province.

- Route 3: National Highway 1 → Hanoi Highway → D1 Road (High-Tech Park) → D2 Street → Vo Chi Cong → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → Dong Nai Province.

- Route 4: National Highway 1 (or Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway; National Highway 50) - Nguyen Van Linh - Phu My Bridge - Vo Chi Cong - Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.

3. Traffic direction from the Western provinces (Long An province) to Tay Ninh province and vice versa:

- Route 1: National Highway 1 → National Highway 62 → National Highway N2 → DT 825 → DT 822 → Provincial Road 7 → National Highway 22 → Tay Ninh province.

- Route 2: National Highway 1 → National Highway 22 → Tay Ninh province.

4. Traffic direction from Tay Ninh province to Dong Nai province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and vice versa:

- Route 1: National Highway 22 → Provincial Road 8 → Huynh Van Cu → Pham Ngoc Thach → My Phuoc – Tan Van → DT 743A → Dong Nai bridge → National Highway 51 → Dong Nai province, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

- Route 2: National Highway 22 → National Highway 1 → Dong Nai Bridge → National Highway 51 → Dong Nai Province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

- Route 3: National Highway 22 → National Highway 1 → Hanoi Highway → D1 Street (High-Tech Park) → D2 Street → Vo Chi Cong → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → Dong Nai Province, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province.
