The patient was in contact with case F0 in Hiep An ward, Thu Dau Mot city and has been taken to concentrated isolation since June 20, 2021. On July 1, 2021, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2; was transferred to the Medical Center of Ben Cat Town for further isolation and treatment with a history of hypertension. At 20:30 on July 8, 2021, the patient progressed badly and was transferred to Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital. At 2:45 p.m. on July 9, 2021, the patient died with the following diagnosis: Monitoring for cerebrovascular accident, hypertension and severe pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 (diagnosed by PCR).
