Dau Tieng District temporarily locked down Quarter 1, 2, 3 in Dau Tieng Town to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic

​PORTAL – On the morning of July 06, after the rapid testing of SARS-CoV-2 antigens at Dau Tieng Health Center, a positive case was detected, the District Steering Committee for Covid-19 Preventions and Control has directed the Health Center to organize testing for those who had close contact with the source of infection and detected 11 positive cases (including 10 people in Quarter 1, Dau Tieng Town and 01 person in Can Giang, Thanh An Commune).

In the evening of the same day, District Health Center took pooled samples (from 1,000 to 1,200 samples) of residents in Quarter 01 and Sang market area in Dau Tieng Town.

Before, the District Steering Committee for Covid-19 Preventions and Control had issued the Decision on the establishment of temporary medical quarantine area for Covid-19 prevention and control in Quarter 1, 2, 3 of Dau Tieng Town, the purpose is to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic from 12:00 on July 6, 2021 until further notice.

So far, Dau Tieng District has officially recorded 11 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 and 06 cases who were positive for rapid antigen tests. Up to the afternoon of July 08, 2021, the district took test samples for more than 11,000 residents in high-risk areas.
