The cases are linked to the outbreak at WANEK 2 Co., Ltd; House Wares Vietnam Co., Ltd; Hien Hoa Anh Creamic Company; II-VI Co., Ltd; PG Company; Ho Chi Minh City (Binh Dien Market); Tan Dinh Ward, Ben Cat Town. The cases detected through rapid testing at medical facilities live in Chanh Phu Hoa, Thoi Hoa, My Phuoc Ward (Ben Cat Town), Khanh Binh (Tan Uyen Town).
In relation to the outbreak at WANEK Co., Ltd, so far there have been 405 cases, including 03 cases related to WANEK 1 Co., Ltd; 401 cases related to WANEK 2 and 01 case in WANEK 4. The new infected cases of the chain were all detected in the quarantine zone.
About the new outbreak recorded in Binh Duong, in relation to Hansol Vina Co., Ltd (Di An City), there have been 57 infected cases; in relation to 01 case of SARS-CoV-2 detected in An Tay – Ben Cat, there have been 09 cases in Ben Cat Town. About the new outbreak recorded in Dau Tieng Town, Dau Tieng District (05 cases), new infected cases might occur in this outbreak due to the close distance to markets, crowded areas.
From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 998 infected cases in the community. The epidemic has appeared in 41 companies, factories and dozens of workers' hostels.
Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 1,044 patients including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 1,004 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia). The number of patients under treatments is 995 people, 01 death case occurred on July 01, 2021.
On July 05 and 06, the Health sector collected 2,666 samples including 2,318 single samples, 348 pooled samples (3,319 people). Cumulatively, from the beginning of the epidemic until June 06, 2021, 53,193 samples were tested for 121,741 turns of people.
The total number of cases under concentrated quarantine is 4,397; under isolation at home and accommodation is 12,916. Besides, 2,559 workers at WANEK Co., Ltd are temporarily quarantined.
Binh Duong is deploying to vaccinate Covid-19 in the 4th phase for 24,000 people, including 18,000 workers, laborers at enterprises inside and outside industrial parks.
