These cases reside in Thu Dau Mot city (wards: Hoa Phu, Phu Hoa, Phu Tan), Ben Cat town (Hoa Loi ward), Tan Uyen town (Tan Vinh Hiep, Phu Chanh, Tan Hiep), Di An City (An Binh Ward and Di An Ward) and in Ho Chi Minh City (Binh Chieu Ward and Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City).
The total number of cases currently in concentrated medical isolation is: 4,313 cases; total number of cases under medical isolation at home and place of residence: 10,889 cases.
Out of a total of 457 patients in the 4th outbreak (including 455 cases in the community, 01 foreign expert, 01 case re-positive after completing treatment in Khanh Hoa), 04 patients recovered, the number of patients still being treated is 453 (the oldest patient is 78 years old, the youngest is 6 months old), there are 04 patients requiring mechanical ventilation, 03 patients receiving oxygen.
In Binh Duong, the disease has appeared in 32 companies, factories and dozens of worker dormitories. The number of cases has now turned to level 5, the province has focused all measures and resources in time to fight the epidemic. In which, organizing sampling to screen 1 million people in high-risk areas; establishing 100 inspection teams to monitor and guide epidemic prevention and control at companies, factories and enterprises; closely inspecting and supervising concentrated isolation areas to prevent cross-infection; increase the number of isolation beds to 20,000 - 30,000 beds; deploying 20,000 doses of vaccine for the 4th phase and making a plan to vaccinate workers (about 1 million doses); surveying to expand treatment areas for Covid-19 patients to ensure 1,000 hospital beds; surveying to establish a field hospital in Di An. The province has piloted home medical isolation for the F1 case in Bau Bang district. The Ministry of Health has also set up a Team to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Binh Duong province, led by Mr. Tran Nhu Duong - Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology as the Team leader.
