In difficult conditions due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Vinamilk always tries its best to protect the health and ensure the rights of employees such as propagating and guiding employees to comply and implement regulations on epidemic prevention and control under the guidance and direction of the Ministry of Health and local authorities; building a disease-safe working environment.
In order to realize the "dual goal" of maintaining production and business while effectively fighting the epidemic, Vinamilk promptly activated solutions, ensuring the supply of essential nutritional products for the people. In addition to business development, Vinamilk always accompanies the government in epidemic prevention and control. Specifically, in 2020, Vinamilk has donated a total of VND 40 billion for the Government's disease prevention and control work, fueled the frontline forces to fight the epidemic, and supported children and communities during the pandemic. In which, there is VND 18 billion in cash to support the purchase of medical supplies and equipment for testing. In the first 6 months of 2021, facing the new development of the epidemic, Vinamilk has continued to support 2 million nutritional products, equivalent to about VND 15 billion, to those affected by the pandemic, especially children. In addition, Vinamilk has donated VND 10 billion to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, joining hands with individuals, organizations and communities to quickly bring vaccines to the people of Vietnam. Since the outbreak, Vinamilk has donated a total of more than VND 65 billion to the Government's epidemic prevention and control activities and support the frontline, nutritional care for the community during the pandemic.

At the meeting, Vinamilk Company also requested and proposed to the Prime Minister and the Delegation about problems such as: Considering and directing to create conditions for Vinamilk to remove difficulties in restructuring the Company's projects; Considering and approving the planning to adjust the contents related to a number of dairy factory development projects in Vietnam etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the results Vinamilk has achieved in the past time. The Prime Minister emphasized that, Vinamilk is an effective circular economy model with many useful and practical contributions to employees, localities and the State. During its formation and development, Vinamilk has well accompanied and implemented the great policy of the Party and State, which is to improve the health and stature of Vietnamese people. The Prime Minister suggested, Vinamilk continue to well implement the motto "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy" and the dual goals of production and business, and effective epidemic prevention and control.
Regarding Vinamilk's requests and proposals, the Prime Minister directed the Government Office and relevant Ministries, branches and localities to promptly review and propose solutions and support businesses, creating conditions for businesses to grow.
