All F1, F2 cases of new patients are being urgently traced. The relevant epidemiological areas are zoned by functional departments, temporarily medically isolated and disinfected.
Thus, from the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong has recorded 141 infected cases in the community, including 03 cases in Binh Quoi B, Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City; 05 cases in Phuc Dat Production and Trade Company – Di An City; 03 cases in Ehome 4 Apartment, Vinh Phu Ward, Thuan An City; 05 cases in Puku Vietnam Co., Ltd (Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City); 03 cases in Binh Thang, Di An City; 02 cases in Binh Nham Ward, Thuan An City (in relation to the wholesale market in Hoc Mon – Ho Chi Minh City); 02 cases who are North-South freighter drivers detected in Lai Uyen Town, Bau Bang District, and 118 cases related to the outbreak in Tan Phuoc Khanh Ward, Tan Uyen Town.
According to the Department of Health, the outbreaks in Tan Phuoc Khanh Ward, Tan Uyen Town and the company in Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City are the most worrisome; with a virus strain from India, which has spread in a rapid speed. The cases have infiltrated in companies and workers' accommodations. Therefore, it is difficult to control and there is an ability that the infected cases will strongly increase in the near future if the epidemic is not promptly prevented. The current number of infected cases in the province has approached level 4 (from 101 to 300 cases), so it is necessary to raise the epidemic alert level to the highest to promptly mentally prepare attitude, solutions and resources to fight the epidemic.
The Health sector is urgently contacting the Ministry of Health to consider allocating as many vaccines as possible for Binh Duong Province. The Department of Health, Department of Finance, and Vietnamese Fatherland Front urgently implement procurement activities, balancing finance to purchase Covid-19 vaccines and advise on the purchase of Covid-19 vaccines through businesses.
Binh Duong Authorities are mobilizing forces to end the infection sources in the companies; temporarily suspending the spontaneous markets' activities, especially spontaneous markets at industrial parks, workers' accommodations; strictly strengthening the management towards traditional markets, supermarkets at the absolute safety level of epidemic prevention and control; implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister in Tan Uyen Town, Thuan An City, and some wards of Di An City and Thu Dau Mot City.
The Provincial Military Command establishes and expands concentrated isolation areas to ensure 10,000 beds, and coordinates with the Department of Transport to arrange timely means of transport for cases of concentrated isolation.
At the same time, strengthen media activities, raise the awareness of citizens, communities; strictly handle, especially penalize individuals and organizations that violate epidemic prevention and control, causing epidemics to spread in the community.
