Thereby contributing to reducing the number of cases, deaths and injuries caused by traffic accidents annually by 5% - 10%; particularly reduce serious traffic accidents; continue to effectively implement measures to prevent, combat and overcome traffic jams. Accordingly, the Plan focuses on implementing the targets and tasks to ensure traffic safety in the period of 2021 - 2025; continue to effectively implement the Resolutions, Decrees and Directives of the Government and Ministries; Direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee for the work of ensuring traffic safety on roads, railways, inland waterways and overcoming traffic jams. Improve the capacity and efficiency of state management in the field of ensuring traffic safety; develop traffic infrastructure and organize modern, safe and smooth traffic. Strengthen inspection, examination and supervision of official duty performance, inspection, patrolling, control and handling of violations of the law on traffic safety. Innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination and education of the law on traffic safety to all sectors in transportation activities etc.
The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies, units and localities to organize the review; coordinating with relevant agencies, units and localities to advise the Provincial People's Committee to reward or propose the National Traffic Safety Committee to reward individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for 5 years to implement the Plan.
