​​The meeting considered the proposal to name 26 roads in the New Urban Area of the Binh Duong Industrial - Service - Urban Complex in Thu Dau Mot City and 24 routes in Tan Uyen Town.

Overview of the meeting

Streets are named after famous people, historical figures and places that have made many contributions to the homeland and the locality; in the list of naming and renaming roads and public works in Binh Duong province. However, 02 street names expected to be located in Tan Uyen Town (Ho Thien Nhan and Du Khanh) are not on the List and are waiting for the Council to consider and approve.

The localities propose to name roads to create favorable conditions for functional agencies to well manage administrative units in the locality, establish addresses, and serve as basis for issuing administrative documents at the request of the people.

At the meeting, members of the Council discussed and commented on some contents about choosing street name suitable to the size of the road and local characteristics.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha suggested that localities should strictly follow the approval process; follow the basis closely, prepare all documents, explain clearly as well as continuously report the implementation process for the Council to consider and approve and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for decision.
