As planned, the High School Graduation Exam 2021 will be held on July 7 and 8, 2021. Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, MOET advocates to keep the exam organization stable as in 2020. The exams held in the High School Graduation Exam 2021 include 03 independent exams, namely Math, Literature and Foreign Languages; 01 combined exam of Natural Sciences including Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects; 01 combined exam of Social Sciences including History, Geography, and Civic Education subjects.

Based on the purpose of taking the exam and the exam regulations, candidates of different subjects will register for the exam in accordance with regulations. The registration for the exam is carried out smoothly and on schedule. Currently, MOET is continuing to coordinate with localities to promptly support arising problems (if any) to ensure the interests of candidates.

MOET has advised the Prime Minister to issue Directive No. 11/CT-TTg on strengthening to direct the high school graduation exam and university enrollment and vocational training in 2021; promulgating the Circular amending and supplementing the Regulation on high school graduation exam, the exam schedule. At the same time, organizing training conferences on the high school graduation exam in 2021; Reference exam questions of 15 exam subjects were announced on March 31, 2021; exam management software (for registration, exam organization, enrollment support) and multiple-choice marking software etc.

However, in the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, MOET is working with localities to urgently develop a plan to organize exams and review for exam in accordance with the levels of the pandemic, ensuring students take the exam safely and with quality.

At the conference, the representative of the Ministry of Health said that document had been sent to the Department of Health of the provinces and centrally-run cities on coordination in organizing the high school graduation exam and enrollment in 2021 to ensure safety before the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. Request the Departments of Health of the provinces and centrally-run cities to closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to implement a number of measures to ensure safety for the High School Graduation Exam and enrollment in 2021. Allocate human resources, equipment, medicine, chemicals and designate health establishment to participate in performing medical professional work such as coordinating in reviewing and classifying candidates according to target groups to have suitable treatment plan according to the instructions.
