Binh Duong Centralized Archive Center Project

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project
The construction of Binh Dương Centralized Archive Center was started on December 30, 2019, with a total investment of more than 371 billion VND, with a scale of Grade II civil works, including 09 floors and 01 terrace. Total construction floor area is 12,311m2, equipped with technical systems including electrical and lighting systems; water supply and drainage system; security camera and communication system; automatic fire prevention and fighting. In addition, the project is also invested in specialized equipment and synchronous office equipment, ensuring the preservation and storage of scientific documents, meeting the requirements of archiving and retrieving documents quickly and scientifically.


Delegates visiting the project
The work was carried out with the aim of storing state management records and information from the time of founding province up to now, for the purpose of research and retrieval of records and documents in a complete, accurate and fast manner. When the project is put into operation, it will contribute to promoting administrative procedure reform and building an e-Government to serve the direction and administration of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Binh Duong Centralized Archive Center project put into use would make great significance, mark the progress in the province's archival work in an increasingly safe, efficient and scientific manner and show the provincial leaders' interest in the archival industry. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Home Affairs to direct the Sub-Department of Archives to receive, manage and operate the project in accordance with the designed functions, ensuring orderly and secure document storage and quick access to documents upon request; at the same time, carry out routine maintenance of works and equipment in accordance with regulations.
