As reported by the Department of Health, the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic is developing very complicatedly in Vietnam with a new variant, high infection rate, rapid spread in the community and in industrial parks, especially, there have been many cases of Covid-19 detected in industrial parks such as Hai Duong and Bac Giang. For Binh Duong, during this pandemic, 144 cases of risk were detected, related to outbreaks throughout the country. Binh Duong also recorded one more case of Covid-19 infection in the quarantine area, who is a Vietnamese citizen returning from abroad. The number of illegal entry cases in the area is 46 cases. Binh Duong has a large workforce and foreign employees from other provinces and cities come to work, so the risk of pandemic is always latent.

To ensure safety in the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control at public transport locations, the Department of Transport promptly and proactively implemented the guiding documents of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Health, the Provincial People's Committee at the bus stations, transport business units, equipped and strictly followed the instructions and obliged all passengers to make health declarations. Currently, the whole province has 329 fixed bus routes with 300 registered enterprises. However, for vehicles that do not follow fixed routes, localities are required to strengthen inspection and take measures to prevent these vehicles from bringing people from pandemic areas to Binh Duong.
