Overview of the ceremony

Together with the whole country, after 70 years of establishment and development, generations of cadres, public employees and labors of Binh Duong Industry and Trade Branch have always successfully performed their assigned tasks. Especially, in the renovation period, Binh Duong Industry and Trade branch has closely followed the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Congress, exploited the potentials and strengths of natural resources and human resources, promoted production and business and has made great progress, making important contributions to the cause of building a richer and more beautiful homeland.

Up to now, the whole province has planned and built 12 industrial clusters, 106 markets of all types and 12 supermarkets, 05 shopping malls to attract enterprises of all economic sectors to participate in production and business activities. In the period of 2015-2020, the provincial index of industrial production increased by an average of 9.64% per year; total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by an average of 17.95% per year; the export value increased by an average of 9.31% per year, contributing to promoting the economic restructuring of the province in the direction of increasing the proportion of industry - services.

With many outstanding results, Binh Duong Industry and Trade branch has been awarded many noble awards by the Party and State such as: The title of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces in 2000, the Second-class Labor Medal in 2002, the First-class Labor Medal in 2013, etc. Many enterprises in the branch have also been awarded by the Party and State such as the Independence Medal, the Labor Medal, the title of Labor Hero in the renovation period, typical Vietnamese Entrepreneur, the leading flag of the Industry and Trade branch, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Truc praised all cadres, civil servants, public employees and labors of Binh Duong Industry and Trade branch over the periods, having contributed to writing a proud history of Industry and Trade branch during the past 70 years. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished that in the coming period, the Industry and Trade branch will continue to strive to achieve and exceed the set targets for sustainable and quality development, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of Binh Duong province.
