At the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Hanh - Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front instructed the organization of conference for the candidates for the election of the 15th NAD to meet with voters for election campaigning. This activity aims to create conditions for candidates for the election of the 15th NAD to meet and report to voters on their proposed action plans if elected to be the NAD. Therefrom, voters have the opportunity to contact and understand the candidate, carefully study the list of candidates to choose, elect outstanding and worthy people who represent their wills, aspirations and ownership in Central and local state power agencies, meeting the requirements of building and perfecting a Socialist Vietnam State of the Law which is of the people, by the people and for the people.
Overview of the meeting
According to Resolution no. 64/NQ-HDBCQG March 03, 2021 of the National Election Council, Binh Duong province has 04 NAD constituencies; the number of candidates for the election of the 15th NAD in the province is 19 people to elect for 11 deputies. Specifically, the constituency no. 1 includes Thu Dau Mot city and Tan Uyen town (the number of NAD to be elected is 03; the number of candidates is 05); the constituency no. 2: Di An city (the number of NAD to be elected is 02; the number of candidates is 04); the constituency no. 3: Thuan An city (the number of NAD to be elected is 03; the number of candidates is 05); the constituency no. 4: Ben Cat town and districts: Dau Tieng, Phu Giao, Bau Bang, Bac Tan Uyen (the number of NAD to be elected is 03; the number of candidates is 05).
The expected time of meeting with voters is from May 06 to 21, 2021. In which, the NAD constituency no. 1 meets with voters from May 06 to 16, 2021; the NAD constituency no. 2 meets with voters from May 06 to 12, 2021; the NAD constituency no. 3 meets with voters from May 10 to 16, 2021 and the NAD constituency no. 4 meets with voters from May 06 to 21, 2021.
Also at the meeting, delegates listened to Mr. Mai Hung Dung – Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee quickly announcing basic contents of the socio-economic situation of Binh Duong province over the past time and solutions for socio-economic development in the coming time for the candidates for the election of the 15th NAD to build their expected action plans.
