According to statistics, as of December 31, 2019, Binh Duong's population is nearly 2.5 million people, of which 53% of people from other localities come to live, work and study. There are more than 1 million people working in the enterprise sector, of which are mainly non-state owned enterprises. Up to now, the Party Committee in the province has developed 71 Party grassroots organizations in enterprises outside the state sector, accounting for 11.87% of the total number of Party organizations; 136 branches under the grassroots Party Committee. The entire Party Committee currently has 4,233 party members working in enterprises outside the state sector, accounting for 8.75% of the total number of Party Committee members. In which, there are 2,521 party members acting in Party organizations in enterprises, 1,712 party members working in enterprises that do not have Party organizations.
Overview of the seminar
Presenting at the seminar on the draft Program to improve the quality of Party member development for the 2020-2025 tenure, in order to achieve the target of admitting 9,500 party members in the tenure according to the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress set out, of which at least 1,020 party members are admitted in non-state enterprises, with 30 enterprise owners.
Promoting the development of party members among workers in the province
In order to accomplish the set objectives, the Program will synchronously implement groups of solutions on propaganda, political and ideological education in a rich way for each subject as enterprise owners, workers, labors, pupils and students; arrange and consolidate the organization, implement the process of admitting party members and support resources, activities, remove difficulties and problems; strengthen inspection and supervision.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council asked the Propaganda Committee of Provincial Party Committee to coordinate with the Party Delegation of the Provincial Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Youth Union to continue adjusting, supplementing, completing tasks and solutions to the innovation of patriotism propaganda and education in accordance with the period of 2021-2025 and the next years. Especially, improving the content, methods, organizational form of political learning for workers and enterprise owners.
