Accordingly, the Program issued 04 main targets with 24 specific indicators to achieve each target of comprehensive child development, child health care and nutrition; child protection; education, culture, recreation and entertainment for child; increasing child participation in child's affairs.
Departments, committees, branches, unions and localities strengthen the direction, guidance and coordination to implement the targets and indicators of the Program; ensuring the integration of children's targets and indicators into each agency's five-year and annual socio-economic development plans, specifically defining mechanisms and resources for implementation.
In parallel, studying and developing additional policies to support comprehensive care and development for children up to 8 years old, especially for the 36-month period; policies to support children in special circumstances, ethnic minority children, children in poor and near poor households, migrant children and children in workers' families at industrial parks, children affected by natural disasters, pandemics and catastrophes; Developing policies on child protection, prevention and control of child abuse, and child and juvenile friendly justice.
At the same time, developing a service system to meet the realization of child rights with integration and coordination among health, education, justice and social security services; strengthening communication and education on knowledge and skills to exercise child rights and duties; engaging in social mobilization to achieve the child targets and solve child problems; mobilizing resources and social participation.
