After inspecting the reality at the facility, the Delegation had a meeting with the EC of Thuan An City. Reporting to the Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee, Chairman of the EC of Thuan An City said that Thuan An City has a natural area of 83.71 km2, population of 618,984 people, including 174,165 permanent residents, 444,819 temporary residents. The administrative structure includes 9 wards and 1 new-style rural commune with 56 quarters. In the area, there are currently 3 industrial parks, 3 industrial clusters and many enterprises located in the residential area with a labor force of about 326,000 people.

Although it is the most populous area in the province, Thuan An City has carefully prepared steps for the election. Implementing Directive no. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo and directing documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and Thuan An City Party Committee issued Directive on leading the election; established the Election Steering Committee; assigned tasks to members of the Steering Committee to help the City Party Committee lead comprehensively the election. The Steering Committee promptly advised the City Party Committee to direct the Party Executive Committees and People's Committees at all levels to urgently deploy the election. The affiliated Party executive committees issued Resolutions to direct the election; the People's Committee of the city, the People's Committees of communes and wards actively established the EC to lead the election in the area.
The activities of information and propaganda about the election were carried out in a rich and diverse way, in accordance with the actual situation and associated with Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, attracting the attention of all classes of people, etc.
At the meeting, members of the delegation noted that Thuan An city cared about election propaganda among workers, made a list of voters, and ensured the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.

Speaking at the meeting, General Do Ba Ty - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly highly appreciated the election preparation of Thuan An City, ensuring the strictness, compliance with regulations and law, especially the election preparation among workers. In particular, Thuan An City has well prepared the work of ensuring health care, security and order, and fire prevention and fighting. The General noted that Thuan An City should review all contents, ensure absolute safety for the election. At the polling stations, surveillance cameras should be installed, along with increasing propaganda among the people, workers so that voters go to the polls fully and in accordance with the law.
