Large fires occurred in 34/63 provinces and cities directly under the Central authority and concentrated mainly in provinces and cities with a high economic growth rate and a rapid urbanization rate, many industrial zones, export processing zones, markets, trade centers, high-rise buildings and concentrated residential areas. In which, the large fires occurring in localities in the Southern Region accounted for a high rate with 50.8%; in the Northern region with 33.1% and in the Central region with 16.1%.
