Binh Duong is also the locality that continues to top the 2020 PCI rankings in the Southeast region, followed by Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan and Binh Phuoc.

Among the 10 PCI component indexes in 2020, Binh Duong has 07 indexes increased, including: Market entry, time costs, informal charges, healthy competitiveness, proactivity of the provincial authority, business support services, legal institutions and security; 03 indexes decreased include: Land access, transparency, and labor training.
Quang Ninh leads the PCI rankings for the 4th consecutive year with the review points of 75.09, up 2.69 points compared to 2019. The next positions belong to Dong Thap and Long An thanks to positive changes in the component indexes.
