Dear compatriots, comrades, cadres and soldiers and enterprise community of Binh Duong province.
On the occasion of the Spring of Tan Suu 2021, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, I would like to extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to all compatriots, comrades, cadres, soldiers, overseas compatriots and the enterprise community of the province!
Looking back to 2020, a year with particularly important significance, which is the last year of the 2015-2020 tenure, the year when the entire world, the entire country and Binh Duong province had to experience many difficulties and great challenges due to the heavy impacts from natural disasters, salinization, and floods, etc. and especially the Covid -19 pandemic! However, from the depth, always igniting the mettle of a heroic nation, the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people have joined together and unanimously overcame all challenges and difficulties.
In that context, with the highest political determination, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee have adopted many drastic, flexible and appropriate solutions, along with the efforts and attempts of all levels and branches; the consensus and positive response from the enterprise community and all classes of people in the province to achieve very encouraging results as follows:
First, in the field of economy, there was a growth at a fairly high rate: 6.91% - this is a much higher growth rate than the average level of the entire country and some provinces and cities in the region. Trade, service, import and export had good growth and maintained a surplus of about 6 billion USD. State budget revenue reached 62,800 billion VND, exceeding 600 billion VND compared with the plan; attracting domestic and foreign investment has achieved very positive results.
Secondly, in the field of culture and social security, the Province mobilized many resources to take good care of the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services, at the same time, well realized policies to ensure social security; supported for people and workers in flood, natural disasters and salinization areas in the Central and Southwestern regions.
Thirdly, political security, social order and safety were always kept stable. Resolutely not allowing crime to act or abuse. In particular, the Province focused on solving problems to expand and upgrade arterial roads such as National Highway 13, Provincial Road no. 743 and My Phuoc - Tan Van, and applied many solutions to limit traffic congestion and had more positive changes.
Fourthly, the Province's foreign affairs in the past year continued to maintain well, despite being impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic on a worldwide range, but we still maintain information and exchange with foreign partners via online form. Thereby, continuing to consolidate and expand foreign relations and strengthen foreign investment promotion activities for our Binh Duong province.
Fifthly, the work of building Party and political system achieved important results such as successfully organizing the Party Congress at all levels. The administrative reform was paid attention and invested continuously; emphasizing the scientific and methodical characteristics, always showing responsibility, discipline, rule, exemplary character at work and for people and enterprises.
The results achieved in 2020 are very remarkable and proud. On behalf of the Binh Duong provincial leaders, I applaud and commend the efforts and attemps of the Party executive committees at all levels, the authorities, the armed forces, the enterprise community and especially the people in the province who have always shared sorrow and mirth in all circumstances. I would like to thank for the close attention and guidance of the Government; the effective and timely support of the Ministries and Central branches; of domestic and international organizations with entire heart devoted to Binh Duong province in the past year.

Entering the New Year with a new start, as well as in the new tenure of the country and of Binh Duong province, on behalf of the Provincial leaders, I call on all cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, compatriots, enterprise community, overseas compatriots and all classes of people in the province to turn our aspirations to rise into specific, practical and effective actions to bring Binh Duong further development in the new period.
Besides the individual positive desires, I suggest all people in society to unite with one heart, focus on innovation towards the common goal that the people have a higher and higher income level and a modern industrial economy with more sustainable development.
In the past year 2020, before unexpected developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have shared joys and sorrows together, supported each other, joined hands to fight the pandemic, strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, together work and develop. By Tet this year, the Spring of Tan Suu 2021, we must accept to celebrate Tet in an unusual context, must follow the recommendations of the Health branch, must stay at home for Tet, but this is the best way to prevent and control the pandemic and also an opportunity for us to gather and have a happy time with our family members.
I believe that, with the sunshine of the spirit that fighting the pandemic is like fighting the enemy, along with the efforts of each individual and the cooperation spirit of the entire community, with the noble humanity and infinite charity, etc. All will merge together, to become an infinite power, dispel the darkness of the pandemic, for all of us to join in welcoming the best of a new spring – the Spring of Tan Suu 2021. On the occasion of the New Year, I would like to wish everyone good health, happiness and successes!
